While wai is a source of life, it can also be the cause of death through drowning.  This past summer has been tragic in Tāmaki Makaurau’s waters.  Collective action around drowning prevention and water safety are needed more than ever. Our new ‘Emerging Issues’ page highlights drowning prevention and water safety issues, ways to act, and provides links to some valuable resources.
